What rate is this?
ESTVELO requests a reference rate from the Frankfurter currency API. Reference rates can differ from bank, card, remittance and broker rates because those services may use different market snapshots, spreads, markups or fees.
Do not use this page as proof of the price available for an actual trade or money transfer. Check the final provider quote before confirming a transaction.
Why your bank or broker can show a different amount
- A reference feed may use a daily or periodic market snapshot rather than an executable two-way quote.
- Card networks, banks and remittance services can add a spread or explicit fee.
- A broker may convert realized P/L or margin using its own account-conversion process.
- Weekend and holiday timing can create a gap between the latest reference rate and the next active market quote.
Useful use cases
Use the converter for rough account-currency context, travel/remittance comparison or to understand the scale of a foreign-currency value. Use the actual provider quote for a real transfer, card purchase or trade.

Research essentials
Calculators and calendars organize inputs; they do not know your broker's complete contract specification or predict future price.
Use broker specificationsLot size, pip value, margin, quote currency, financing and trading hours can differ by instrument and provider.
Separate margin from riskMargin is the collateral needed to hold a position. The amount you can lose depends on position size, price movement and execution.
Expect event volatilityScheduled releases can alter spreads, liquidity and slippage. A calendar shows timing, not direction.
Validate outputsTreat calculator results as estimates and confirm the final numbers in the platform or provider documentation before trading.
