What it does

The 1-Step product uses one evaluation phase, while the 2-Step product uses a Challenge followed by Verification. Current FTMO pages publish different loss limits and objectives for each path and state that FTMO Accounts use simulated capital.

What to verify before paying

  • The current objective table for the exact Challenge type and size.
  • Country eligibility and any account-type restrictions.
  • News, overnight/weekend and payout rules that apply after evaluation.

ESTVELO research note

ESTVELO does not classify an FTMO Challenge as a brokerage account or a deposit account. Read the program agreement and country rules before paying an evaluation fee.

Primary sources

Passing a trading evaluation is not guaranteed. Loss limits and other rules can terminate an evaluation, and provider eligibility or payout terms can change.
